Newborns are best photographed 10-14 days after birth. Knowing that babies arrive when they choose to, all I need is your due date to reserve your spot on my calendar. Contact me as soon as baby is born and everyone is doing well (often times I hear from parents while they are still in the hospital) and we will book the actual session date & time then.
I provide all of the wraps, outfits, and props. If you have anything you'd like to incorporate you are more than welcome to bring it. I always love adding in something unique or sentimental to you. I would however, strongly discourage dressing baby in regular clothing for this session. The wraps and outfits I provide will help keep your baby sleepy and at peace. I always tell my clients the only thing I need you to bring is a naked baby and someone to feed it (and maybe a nuk, blanket to snuggle with in between sets, and PLENTY of diapers).
YES! I think it is extremely important to document your new little family at this stage. In a 2 hour session I typically spend about 30 minutes with the entire family and spend the rest of the time solely on the baby.
NO! The more the merrier! I charge by the hour not by the number of people I am photographing. You reserve me for a set time and I am yours. Even your fur babies can join in if they want to!
NO! You can bring as many as you'd like, in fact its great to have options. We might not use them all, but it's always better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. Typically during a 1/2 hour family session 1 outfit suffices. During a full hour 1-2 is usually the most you'd want to utilize. The time you reserve is yours and if you want to spend some of it changing that's completely up to you.
